Learning by Taste – and a subscription offer from Edible Seattle

Edible Seattle photosedible SeattleEdible Seattle, a northwest magazine celebrating the seasonal bounty of Puget Sound, published an article titled “Learning by Taste” about our School Farm in their March/April issue. You can find it HERE. With the children so enthusiastic about farm fresh veggies, Edible Seattle was inspired to offer a free magazine to every child, teacher and staff at the Elementary School!

To support the school farm, Edible Seattle is offering a subscription fundraiser.

For every $21 annual subscription to the magazine, $11 will go to the School Farm. If you would like to subscribe and help support curriculum and growing fresh organic food for the children, please fill out the form HERE and mail to South Whidbey School District, 5520 Maxwelton Rd., Langley, WA 98260 with a check payable to SWSD.

Our appreciation to Edible Seattle for their coverage, their magazine, and a great way to raise money for the school farm while also sharing with us a good read about growing and eating!
