Coming into the season with production

We’re harvesting our first veggies for the school cafeterias now.  Fifty lbs of salad greens have been delivered to the salad bar this year. Plus many pounds of kale eaten by the students straight off the plants at the Farm during class!

We have done heavy plantings of peas, spinach, lettuce, kale and carrots to get the most possible to the students before school ends.
