We have so much to be grateful for this season in the garden!
On Saturday, November 22nd, from 12 noon – 2 pm
come celebrate all those who helped create the new School Farm —
from tilling the ground, to building the fence, growing the crops, teaching the classes, erecting the hoophouse, spiffing up the new Garden Resource Center,
and fundraising to make it all happen.
We’ll also be celebrating all those who prepare and serve the harvest
both in the school lunches, and in the community!
Enjoy tasty winter squash, carrots, broccoli, kale and beets from the garden,
and refreshments donated by the Goose Grocer.
It is a time to give thanks, and delight in all we have done!
The School Farm is behind the South Whidbey Academy on 5476 Maxwelton Rd.
Walk around behind the school and you’ll find us
in the hoophouse, the garden, and the Resource Center!
