A new school year begins, with garden veggies for lunch!

The Fresh Food for Lunch harvests have begun! We delivered 79 pounds of broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, spinach, slicing and cherry tomatoes, and zucchini to the  Chartwells-managed cafeterias in the SW School District.

Elementary School, Middle School, High School and South Whidbey Academy students will all be eating fresh, organic produce from the school farm and gardens throughout the fall, as long as the harvest lasts!
