Heavy Infrastructure Time!

This last week has been an exciting time at the South Whidbey Academy, where a lot of planning and community help came together to make magic happen!

NOTE: In this case, we are referring to fencing and irrigation as magic!

Friends, community members, school staff and students came together this past Friday, May 31st to help the South Whidbey Academy get one large step closer to meeting their infrastructural goals. The terrace garden veggies have been outgrowing their protective cloche hoop homes, so the fencing order was much appreciated! Take a look at our volunteers hard at work!

  1. My dearest friend lives on the island—I’d love to come visit, next time I visit her. Good work!
